The identity and its significance of
Asia Business Continuity Award (ABCA) have evolved by a
unique mark that shows a star-like shape with expressive
strokes.
The concept of the identity design was
worked with naturalistic approach, where lively symbol was
used to represent the life of human form. As the purpose
of this event is to recognise the individuals whom have
contributed to the BCM Industry, the attributes of the logo
mark closely describes them and their achievements.
The star-like mark forms as the main
element which represents the human-like figure, is being
positioned at a non-stagnant position. It suggests movements
through the quality of each stroke, reaching out towards
the horizon with continuity. Two types of hues were specially
selected to retain the originality and brand continuity
from the brand mark BCP ASIA. The combination of two hues
are namely Orange and Magenta which give a warm and welcoming
effect to enhance the value of the brand mark.
The ABCA identity is then depicted
with a modernistic and classic approach to fit in the tone
of the event, projecting a professional and international
look.
