1) The awards are open to all individuals
and organizations actively practicing business continuity
management in the Asian Pacific region at the point of entry.
2) No entries will be accepted after
5pm on Tuesday, 15th July 2008.
3) Entries will only be deemed valid
when accompanied with entry payment. Entries will not be
processed if the payment is not received by 1st September
2008.
4) An individual or organization may
self- nominate or by another individual or organization
who is familiar with their work.
5) Submissions should include a completed
entry form, a 2000 word submission, and other requirements
as indicated in each award categories, along with the entry
payment fees.
6) Application materials will be subject
to judges evaluations and will be kept in the strictest
confidence.
7) For Business Category entry, a high
resolution logo is required. By providing the logo, the
organization is deemed to agree to provide the organizer
the right to include the company name, logo or trademark
in the ABCA related marketing materials, websites, press
releases and any other ABCA related-materials or activities.
8) Only those details of the nomination
considered public knowledge will be revealed in award materials.
9) Nominees may send additional supporting
material, however please be advised that your 2000 word
submission should formulate the focus of your entry.
10) The organizers will not be held
accountable for any loss or damage of submissions.
11) All entries are non-returnable.
12) Decisions by the judges are final
and no correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
13) Criteria, rules, and entry requirements
set out within the category and specific award guidelines
in the website or the brochure are to be treated as part
of the rules of entry.
14) The ABCA logo and other related
marks and logos are trademarks and service marks of
BCP Asia and are protected by Singapore and international
trademark law. They should not be used within written approval
from BCP Asia. ABCA logo or trademark should be reflected
as it-is and no alterations, variations are allowed. All
usage of the logo should be made reference to the ABCA website
at www.abca.com. BCP Asia reserves all rights to pursue
in the case where the logos or trademarks are misused or
misrepresented.
15) We reserve the right to amend the
terms and conditions at any time at our discretion.
16) By submitting your application,
